Ordinance No. 934, enacted by Borough Council in September of 2001, provides for registration of occupants of rental property within the Borough. Owners of rental properties are required to provide this information by the last day of January each year, and/or whenever there is a change in tenant occupancy. The Ordinance provides for enforcement as a summary offense for failure to comply with the stated provisions.

It is necessary that the Borough receive a complete listing of all tenants every year even if there is no change from last year. This includes tenants that are family members of the owners whether they pay rent or not. If a unit is unoccupied, please list it as unoccupied. The enclosed form may be reproduced as needed. Please complete the form for every rental unit and return it the Borough offices by January 31.

Dog Owners: Be Aware!

Residents who have failed to purchase annual COUNTY license(s) for their dog(s) three months of age or older are violating Pennsylvania law. The FINE: $300 FOR EACH UNLICENSED DOG. The State Dog Law requires owners to obtain dog licenses by january 1st of each year.
