Medical Rescue Team South Authority (MRTSA) is the ambulance service provider for Whitehall.  A member of MRTSA since 1993, MRTSA also serves the neighboring communities of Baldwin Township, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Green Tree, and Mt. Lebanon.

MRTSA serves approximately 74,000 residents in these 6 communities, which covers approximately 14.38 square miles.

MRTSA also has bases in Green Tree and Whitehall.  MRTSA’s 2 Whitehall bases are at the Whitehall Borough Public Works building, and the Whitehall Fire Company Station 2 location on Weyman Road.
