Fire protection is provided by the Whitehall Fire Company, a strictly volunteer company formed in 1946.
The 46-member company operates out of two firehouses.
Station No. 1 is located at 4480 Clairton Road, across from the Baldwin-Whitehall High School.
Station No. 2 is located at 601 Weyman Road, across from the Caste Village Shopping Center.
