Winter Blues Comedy Cure Fundraiser

6 Week Summer Recreation Program

Time: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Cost: Free, but registration is required
Where: Snyder Park, Frank Park, Overlook Acres Park, and Union Park

The six week summer day camp features sports, crafts, games, inter-park play, special events, and field trips.

The program is designed for Whitehall Borough residents between the ages of 6 and 15 years old and all parks are opened and staffed with Recreation Aides from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Bring your family and friends out for a country western extravaganza on Community Day! This year's celebration will boast a country theme including attractions such as a mechanical bull,  rodeo playground, pony rides, and so much more!

Froggy Radio Station's morning show DJ, Jimmy Roach, will make a special appearance with prize giveaways and announce our headliner act for the day:  Ruff Creek!  Since 1997, Ruff Creek has been rocking the Pittsburgh area with their country music; from headlining at popular bars and clubs throughout Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Ohio, to opening for national artists.

"Operation Toy Drive"

Holiday Toy Collection Begins

Mon.-Thurs. 9am - 9 pm
Fridays 1-5 pm
Saturdays 9 am - 5 pm
Sundays 1-4 pm
Where:  Whitehall Public Library Lobby

An "Operation Toy Drive" collection box will be displayed in the library lobby from November 1st through 30th. Show your generosity this holiday season by dropping off a new, unwrapped gift for families of the military in VA hospitals in the Pittsburgh area.
