S.O.S. "Scrapbook on Sundays"

Time: 2:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Cost: $2.50 per hour or $15 total
Fee Collected Upon Arrival
Where: Whitehall Borough Community Room

Get scrapbooking inspiration, share ideas, and complete pages! This is your opportunity to gather with friends and enjoy hours of uninterrupted album making. Supplies will be available for purchase or bring your own.

Cost: $40 - for 24 Sessions

The perfect way to start your summer mornings is to splash into water aerobics! Stay fit and have fun jogging, stretching, and exercising with your noodle! Register early - space is limited!

“Thirsty Thursdays”

Time: 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Cost: $5.00 - Fee Collected Upon Arrival
Where: Whitehall Community Room

Thirsty Thursday workshops are simply a time to work on your albums, but with a fun little twist. Every week a different drink will be offered. From flavored iced teas to smoothies and lemonade, we'll have something you are sure to love! Use this time to organize your photos, layout albums, journal, crop and complete albums! We'll have CHAT (Creative How-To's and Techniques) sessions as well as layout ideas available. And the best part of Thirsty Thursdays is they are just $5. Feel free to invite all your scrapbooking friends to join you. New or experienced croppers are welcome. We'll show the beginner's how to get started while you and your cropping buddies are completing pages.

Pool Party

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $3
Fee collected upon arrival, no registration required
Where: Whitehall Borough Swimming Pool

Join us at the Beach Party-Pool Party. All the fun, without the sand! Kick off the summer season with swimming, music, dancing, contests, and prize giveaways all wrapped up in one fun filled night under the lights at Whitehall Pool. 
  

Tuesday, June 10th

Movie in the Park Night

Time: Dusk - Approximately 8:30 p.m.
Cost: Free, no registration required
Where: Brennan Plaza (above the swimming pool)
Movie: TBD

Free family fun! What could be more enjoyable than a movie under the stars? You bring the blanket and we will provide the movie, popcorn, drinks and fun! Bleacher seating also available.

Monday, June 16th - Friday, July 25th

6 Week Summer Recreation Program

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays
Cost: Free
Where: Snyder Park, Frank Park, Overlook Acres Park, Prospect Park, and Union Park

The Summer Recreation Program is a six week summer day camp for Whitehall Borough residents between the ages of 6 and 15 years old. The days are filled with crafts, games, sports, inter-park play, special events, and field trips. All five parks are opened and staffed with Recreation Aides from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Pre-registration will be held at the Whitehall Borough Administration Office on Monday, June 9th and Wednesday, June 11th from 7-8 p.m.

Farmer’s Market

Runs every Monday through October

Time: 3:30 pm - 7:00 p.m.
Starts: June 16th - Ends: October 27th

Where: 4750 Clairton Blvd.
(First Commonwealth Bank Parking Lot)

Come support your local farmers and purchase quality, homegrown fresh fruits and vegetables.  Also featuring homemade pastas, fudge, breads & baked goods, flowers, pottery & other crafts, and so much more!  Don’t miss the newest and most exciting activity in Whitehall Borough!
